Fru Fru Fitzgerald

Hi, :-)

Okay, if the name Fru Fru Fitzgerald turned you off then you'd better look at the picture first before you judge. :-p There is nothing sissy about it, but it's a grand mansion in a style circa 1910-1920's. It's very fancy (hence the name Fru Fru) I think. The design is called Chateau VI design (which is a mansion I made during my Sims 1 days). The characteristics of this design (3rd generation Chateau) is the front door doesn't open to the street, but toward sideway. The entrance way that connects the gate to the front door of the building should be in between the house itself and a front yard/garden. The garden is abbreviated in Fru Fru Fitzgerald because the lot I chose was 2x3 (the smallest one) to save memory resource requirement. Some people find larger houses run too slow on most people's computers.

Anyways, enough ramble about my design. Enjoy the pictures. :-) A picture speaks better than a million words (and we have five here).

DOWNLOAD IT on The Sims 2 Exchange.

Please remember to rate it on the Exchange if you like it. Thanks. :-)

The front view of Fru Fru Fitzgerald

The front door of Fru Fru Fitzgerald. The porch is large enough to hold a jazz concert. :-) The tree to the right is now replaced by a cat statue, because I thought this place is a cat's meow. :-D The tree to the left is great for the Christmas party.

The back side of the lot

This is the backside of the building. Very very grand. The game doesn't draw the first floor completely when the view is at other floors.... Otherwise, a fireplace is visible through the window directly in front of this view.

Anyways, also notice the shape of the roof (which you'll see more later) forms a "W" crest. I can only make such detailed design in this installment of the game. I think it looks better than just the plain flat roof.

The bird's eye view of the roof work

This is the bird's eye view of the mansion. Look at the intrincate design of the roof. I shall call it the crab design because of the shape. But then if you turn it upside-down, it may look like a baby doing jumping jack. Bah!

Backyard at night

This is the night view. You can see the backyard's features here.

The conspicuous consumption

The first floor's floor plan. Now you can see the interior is every bit as grand as the exterior. Hey, life is short, so live it fast and live it grand.
