Hi, :-) This is my first modern house design for The Sims 2 (though I frequently make modern desgin for The Sims 1). It turns out to be a very exquisite and spacious. The lighting during the night is beautiful. DOWNLOAD IT on The Sims 2 Exchange. Please remember to rate it on the Exchange if you like it. Thanks. :-) <!-- BEGIN TOUR --> This is the overview of the lot. The overall style is modern, circa 1950's, but the basement uses Art Nouveau windows. Somehow it just fits when modern windows don't fit there. This house has no backyard, but the back line of the house is nautical. Look like a ship with all those windows lined up straight the way it is; very different from the front view.
Taken at an oblique angle, this view from the bridge shows a great profile of the house. The living quarter is comprised of two rooms: the lounge area to the right, and a THX-certified home theatre in the immediate view. The floor below the home theatre is a hollow wooden structure to reinforce the sound accoustic. The room is near square and symetric in structure to be able to get that THX certification. This room is not very 1950's, but more like 1920's: it's conspicuous! It's the largest dining room I've made so far for the game. This is the picture of this modern castle under the moon light. The lighting effect of The Sims 2 is marvolous. Notice how triangular shapes are repeated throughout the building. Look from the near ground level, the house is rised above the tree top. It looks like a palace from this view. <!-- END TOUR --> |
